Association of Chinese Medicine Practitioners，abbreviation as ACMP，has established since November 2002. ACMP is an important Chinese Medicine profession organization body in the UK, since it has established ,ACMP took part in Chinese Medicine regulation actively and had achieved its target to keep Chinese Medicine as an independent profession.
There are several Chinese Medicine associations in the UK, for the benefits for the Chinese Medicine profession development and public safety requirement, especially for safety and efficacy to use Chinese herbal Medicine, to unification the practitioners qualification and proper training is very important. For the purpose to do this, the first thing is to unification the associations in the UK. ACMP and other three Chinese Medicine associations had united to establish CMC(Chinese Medicine Council) since 8th June 2004, ACMP will continue to do so in the future.
ACMP has about 200 members recently, Dr Ming Hua Jia is as a chairman since its established.
